2016 Cryptozoic Gotham Season 1 trading cards delve into the earliest episodes of the series. The set follows a similar pattern to many of the card maker's sets. This includes autographs and costume cards.

BASE SET
The base set features 72 cards, all focusing on Gotham ˜s first 22 episodes. If you haven't seen the show before, it's not a Batman show but it totally is. It explores Bruce Wayne's hometown and its many strange inhabitants as the would-be hero grows up. Although the future cape wearer is a big part of the show, it really revolves around Jim Gordon and the Gotham Police Department as they encounter early versions of iconic villains.

Printing Plates are inserted 1:174 packs, which works out to be just over 1:7 boxes. Silver Foil Board parallels are much easier to pull, falling 1:3 packs combined for both base cards and basic inserts.

AUTOGRAPHS AND MEMORABILIA CARDS
Every box of 2016 Cryptozoic Gotham Season 1 trading cards comes with an autograph and a Wardrobe card that has a costume swatch embedded in it. Dual and Triple Wardrobe cards are also randomly inserted.

The autograph checklist is large with more than 20 signers. It's a mix of leads and guests. Highlights include Robin Lord Taylor (Oswald Cobblepott), David Mazouz (Bruce Wayne), Cory Michael Smith (Edward Nygma) and Erin Richards (Barbara). With just one per box, putting together a set requires two cases without any duplicates.
